Certificate in Practical Ministry:

The Certificate in Practical Ministry can be completed in as little as one year. To complete the
program students must earn at least 30 credits from required credit categories, including 4
credits of practical ministry.

Associate in Practical Ministry:

The Associate in Practical Ministry can be completed in as little as two years. To complete the
program the student must earn at least 60 credits from required credit categories, including 8
credits of practical ministry.

Calendar:

FIRE School of Ministry operates on three month “Quarters.” Students may enroll in classes any
month of the year, and the course due dates will adjust accordingly. Please see the School
Catalog for specific term deadlines.
Curriculum

During their time at FIRE School of Ministry, students will take classes with various emphases,
including:

Bible and Theology:

Students will grounded in the word and sound theology though classes such as:
• Old Testament Survey
• New Testament Survey
• Doctrinal Foundations
• Biblical Exegesis

Christian Formation:

Students will learn how to grow closer to God and be transformed into His image though
classes such as:
• Foundations for Intimacy with God
• Spiritual Foundations
• Prayer and Intercession
• Leadership
• The Love of God

 

Ministry Studies:

Students will be equipped to live and minister through the supernatural power of the Holy
Spirit in classes such as:
• Baptism and Gifts of the Spirit
• Principles of Evangelism
• Introduction to Apologetics
• Prophets and Prophetic Ministry
